Lubinda not re-contesting Kabwata seat

Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda will not re-contest the Kabwata seat in the August 12th general elections.
Announcing the development today, Mr Lubinda who has served as Kabwata Constituency MP for the last four terms making him the longest parliamentarian says stepping aside this time around is the best decision he has ever made.

Mr Lubinda who is also the Minister of Justice has announced that he will not seek to re-contest the Kabwata Constituency seat.

He said he has given national service for 20 years serving as an MP in Parliament.

He has however disclosed that he will go countrywide to campaign for President Edgar Lungu and for his re-election as PF member of the Central Committee.

He has urged members of the party to continue campaigning for President Lungu.
