Lubambe women employees donate to Kabundi Secondary

Lubambe Copper Mines Communications Manager Loyce Saili has urged the girls of Kabundi Secondary to aim high.

Ms Saili advised the girls to work hard and dream big to prosper their future.

She was speaking at Kabundi Secondary School when women at Lubambe Copper mine gave a motivation talk and donated sanitary towels to the girls as part of this year’s Women’s Day celebrations.

Ms Saili said women should be thinking of becoming decision makers in high positions.

She said everything starts with a dream coupled by hard work, dreams come to fruition.

“Don’t settle for anything less in life, aim at high big things in life and not small things, everything is possible to the people who believe. Utilize the opportunity here at school because other can’t even afford to be in school,” she said.

Chimwemwe Mwanza a surveyor at Lubambe Copper Mines told the girls to put more effort in their education as noting comes on the silver Platte but through hard work.

Ms Mwanza told the girls not to compare themselves with others but push themselves to be best in everything.

And Kabundi Secondary School Deputy Head Teacher Foster Bwalya commended Lubamba for the gesture to the girls and the donation of sanitary tiles worth K9000.
