Local Government Service Commission Chairperson Amos Musonda has commended Council Secretaries in Luapula province for their good workmanship.
Speaking during a briefing with Council Secretaries from Kawambwa, Mwansabombwe, Mwense,
Nchelenge and Chiengi at Kawambwa Council Chamber, Mr. Musonda noted that the unity of purpose between all Council Secretaries is impressive.
He said some councils in the province have an established buffer fund that cushions any financial challenge including salaries if they do not come on time.
Mr. Musonda has urged the 116 councils in the country to emulate the Councils in Luapula province who are making strides in improving service delivery to the people.
