Nchanga Member of Parliament Derricky Chilundika says that Government will soon construct a maternity annex wing at Luano Kapisha mini hospital.
Mr Chilundika said this will lessen referral case to Kabundi clinic.
Mr Chilundika said Government priorities health hence it will ensure that Luano Kapisha mini hospital becomes a standard and modern mini hospital because it caters for a bigger population
He also donated 2 glucometers with 200 strips, cleaning detergents and a thermometer.
Mr Chilundika who is also Luapula Minister donated some baby hampers to the nursing mothers at the health facility.
He said by next year the construction to extend the mini hospital will commence because the allocation to the hospital has been given under Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Mr Chilundika also donated cleaning detergents to Kabundi clinic and glucometers to Kings Health post.
And Chingola District Health Board Director Davis Mwewa said Kapisha was designed to be a mini hospital because the area is densely populated.
Dr Mwewa said the facility has maintained its mini hospital name but the infrastructure has lagged behind.
Mr Chilundika later visited Mulenga police station and donated three reams of paper and mptor vehicle battery to be used in on of the broken down cars.
