The Ministry of Transport and Logistic through the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has suspended the Road Service License for Likili Bus Service.
This follows the increased record of careless driving resulting in a number of deaths.
Minister of Transport and Logistics, Frank Tayali. said a number of conditions are being put in place and a full comprehensive audit will be done once the suspension is lifted.
Mr Tayali said the Ministry through RTSA will come up with a new license that compels all Public Service Vehicle drivers to undertake defensive driver training.
He said this will help avoid a number of accidents that are caused due to failure to adhere to road traffic rules.
Last week four people died on the spot and several other injured after a likili bus collided with a truck
