President Hakainde Hichilema says Zambians should take advantage of the broader market opportunities offered on the African continent.
President Hichilema said the Continents market should be serviced and used as a platform for jobs and wealth creation.
Mr Hichilema said it is important for the continent to foster peace and unity to guarantee development.
He said this shortly before departure for the African Union (AU) Heads of State Summit in Ethiopia.
And, President Hichilema said there is need for Zambia and other countries to support Mozambique which battling an insurgency at the hands of the Jihadists.
President Hichilema said supporting peace and stability in the region will allow neighboring countries to concentrate on economic stability and opportunities for the region.
