By IREEN MULENGA
Catholic Diocese of Ndola Bishop Benjamin Phiri has called on Christians to love God, pray in truth and wish each other well as they celebrated the Feast of the holy Trinity yesterday.

Bishop Phiri said that a true Christians must believe in the son Jesus Christ who was sent and died for the sins.

In his homily, the Bishop emphasized the need to be United, reconcile and to forgive one another so that they may inherit the kingdom of God.

“God would like us to be United so that we become one, so receive salvation and forgive your enemies,” he said.
As Christian at Twelve Apostles Nchanga Parish Chingola celebrated the mass Bishop Phiri reminded them that a creature understands God because he is bigger than what they fear.

He said the power of God is greater than any other power hence the need for Christians to be prayerful and to be truthful.

Bishop Phiri said that true prayer is to change and live a Christian life all the time especially this time when the Diocese celebrates the year of unity.

And Parish Priest at Nchanga, Fr Martin Bwalya also encouraged Christians to work on the matters that brings dis- unity as they celebrated the holy Trinity.

He said to be a true Christian, certain things must come out such as hatred, revenge, forgiving one another and embrace to live in unity.
