Leaders Zesco Utd can’t stop winning

Zesco United have cemented their stay at the top of the FAZ Super Division table following a 2-1 win over Kabwe Warriors away in Kabwe on Sunday.

It was Zesco’s fifth consecutive win that sent them to 40 points after playing 20 matches.

Striker Enock Sakala Jr sent 1-0 up after 15 minutes with a header at Godfrey “Ucar” Chitalu Stadium before Sydney Phiri pushed in the equaliser for Warriors 20 minutes later.

Veteran defender Adrian Chama scored the winner six minutes away from half time as Coach Mumamba Numba side Zesco punished the home.

Meanwhile, in Sunday’s action there were also wins for Power Dynamos, Indeni and Lusaka Dynamos.
