Dear Editor
Why should it take the office of the Competition & Consumer Protection Commission for some Zambian enterprises to fulfill its warrant obligations?
I got a microwave oven from C plus formally Budget stores in Kasama last year (2017) with a one (1) year warrant.
Few months later it had a keypad malfunction, i returned it to have it repaired.
It took me a year just going to the shop claiming for a refund or replacement, to no avail.
I decided to take the matter to CCPC Kasama office where i was helped, i submitted my supporting documents and three weeks later i have received a new microwave.
I never believe in CCPC offices but now i do and there is need for sensitization these Enterprises have no respect for consumers.
