Konkola Head coach Charles Bwale says the team needs to double the effort in order to maintain the top position of the FAZ National Division one.
Speaking with The Independent Observer in an interview ahead of Saturday’s game against Mufulira Wanderers, Bwale said the game is critical and be an interesting to watch.
Bwale who was former Mufulira Wanderers’ player said they will try their best to go an extra mile and ensures that they collect maximum points.
“If we win this game, we will play Absa, if we win this game, we will maintain the top position. So this game is critical to us,” he said.
He said the team has prepared well and everybody is geared for the match against Maite.
Bwale said he has encouraged his players to be focused, to work extra hard and not to allow ego overtake them just because they’re on top.
He further called on sponsors, club executive, and supporters at large to continue working together so that the team can bounce back to premier league next year.
