Konkola Blades stay top in Division One

Konkola Blades stayed top of the FAZ National Division One table after forcing a 4-4 draw against Chambishi on Sunday afternoon.

Sharp Razor came from 3-0 down to force a draw that moved them to 38 points after 19 matches played.

Forward Owen Tembo and Mathews Tolopa scored two goals each for Konkola at Chambishi stadium.

Striker Terry Mwashi scored two goals for Chambishi with Chabala Kasanda and Mathews Lungu scoring the other goals.

Chambishi are number five on the table with 32 points from 19 matches.

Kansanshi Dynamos remained second on the table following a goalless draw away at Livingstone Pirates as the Solwezi side amassed 36 points.

City of Lusaka missed a chance to go second on the National Division One table after losing 1-0 at Mighty Mufulira Wanderers to remain stuck on 34 points.

Striker Kasashi Lupiya scored the only goal that separated the two legendary teams at Shinde Stadium.
