Konkola Blades have won the KCM derby bragging rights in spectacular fashion by bashing rivals Nchanga Rangers 4-1 in the FAZ National Division One match at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe on Saturday.
The big win has propelled Blades to the top of the table as they moved to 37 points after playing 18 matches.
Sharp Razor scored all the goals in the first half through Emmanuel Mwaba, Victor Mubanga, Owen Tembo and an own goal by Isenge Banda.
Nchanga’s consolation goal came in the second half through new striker Rodgers Mukenge.
Blades have displaced Kansanshi Dynamos from the top of the table as the Solwezi outfit drew 1-1 with visitors Gomes in the North Western on Saturday.
The Chingola side has leaked eight goals in their last two matches in a space of one week.
Nchanga remain stuck on number sixth with 27 points.
Interestingly, ten points are now separating Blades and Nchanga.
