It is with a heavy heart that I announce the untimely death of the Area Councillor for Lubwa Ward in Kitwe, Mrs Godfridah Mambwe Chulu this morning.
The civic leader was first elected in 2011 and served as the Deputy Mayor of Kitwe from 2013 to 2016. She was re-elected as Lubwa Ward Councillor under Kwacha Constituency in 2016.
We will dearly miss her frankness, commitment to duty and uncompromising stance on so many issues.
