The provisional liquidator management and staff of Konkola Copper Mine (KCM) and it’s subsidiaries, the Konkola Mineral Resources limited ‘KMRL’ and KCM SmelterCo Limited extend their Condolences to the family of the first President of the Republic of Zambia, Dr Kenneth Kaunda, the Government and the people of Zambia on the gallant Patriotic and founding president of the Country.
We celebrate the late Dr Kaunda’s life by extolling him as a symbol of unity, a freedom fighter and global icon and statesman. Who played a pivotal role in the liberation of Southern African States.
We are ‘One Zambia, One Nation’ because of Dr Kaunda’s selfless sacrifice in the fight for Independence and relentless teachings on peace, love and unity in the diversity of our culture.
Dr Kaunda set Zambia on a trajectory of development through visionary leadership, which continuously enables Zambia to rise like an Eagle in the skies.
