Judge Mr Katenekwa indicated on the need for legal practitioners to be objective in their work in order to dispose of cases quickly.

Also speaking at the opening ceremony of the High Court in Solwezi, North-Western Province Minister Nathaniel Mubukwanu emphasized on the need to uphold an efficient and effective judicial system.

Mr Mubukwanu said both public and private institutions must embrace justice and be accountable to communities they are mandated to serve.

With the Solwezi Municipal Council Fast Track Court established, the opening of the High Court of Criminal Sessions will quicken the resolution of matters adjudicated to the High Court.
