Kasompe Ward Councillor Martin Lombe yesterday donated some sports boots to Kasompe bullets Academy.
Speaking during the donation, Mr Lombe said that it is important for the youths to BE kept busy by engaging in sporting activities as opposed to substance abuse.
Mr Lombe said that once the youths are empowered, the ward will be enriched as the youths will be busy bettering their lives through various sporting activities.
He said that illicit activities are detrimental to ones’ future, further encouraging well-wishers to come on board and help support the academy.
Mr Lombe is hopeful that the youths in Kasompe ward will be considered in various skills development once the Constituency Development Funds (CDF) committee starts making considerations and approvals.
