Zesco says the country will continue experiencing load shedding as water levels in Kariba Dam have not improved.
The current load shedding period is between 10 to 12 hours per day.
Zesco Public Relations Manager Hazel Zulu said that the water levels in Kariba are still far from the required volumes.
Ms Zulu said the utility company will however continue rationing power until the situation normalise.
She has implored Zambians to help the utility company by being energy efficient through using energy saving appliances.
Ms Zulu has explained that Zesco will continue monitoring the situation at Kariba until an improvement is recorded.
