The late senior citizen Chilemba was one of the early business men we had in Kapisha together with his colleague Mr Mumba the father to former Bupalo ward councilor Nelius Mumba.
Therefore allow me to take this opportunity to join the people of Kapisha in celebrating the life of a man who was proud of the community he lived in.
A story about Kapisha cannot be a complete story without the mention of the name Chilemba.
And today in Kapisha we have a modern market which is one of the biggest modern market shelter on the Copperbelt and it was named after our very own senior citizen of our land Kapisha.
A person who left Kapisha years back can honestly tell you that Kapisha is now a town such that it now attracts even those who were making fan of us because we were coming from Kapisha.
Even in his grave, we shall always consider ba Chilemba to be a hero for he has left a legacy of being a true Patriot of our community.
May his soul rest in peace!
