Renowned Ugandan Comedian Anne Kansiime has urged Zambian comedians to utilize the internet in the midst of Covid 19 pandemic.

Ms Kansiime said Comedians are able to publish what they have on the internet and be able to sustain their selves.

She said using the internet can make it possible for Comedians to be recognized across the world.

Ms Kansiime said during a press briefing at Garden Court Hotel in Kitwe that though the Covid-19 has hampered everything Comedians can still utilize the online platforms to interact with masses.
“We are in an era right now, if you cannot publish from where you are, you cannot sustain yourself. Back at home, the whole art industry is on lockdown, we don’t have shows.  So I believe we can use the internet for our own good and be consistent once you start,” she said.

She also said comedians should intend to deliver messages to masses.
“I think the most important thing is as we crack jokes, think about the content that you say on stage, you should intend to deliver a message, “she said.

Kansiime is in Zambia to perform at the show dubbed Confirmed Comedy Show.

Top Zambian comedians were also part of the show.
