Kansanshi edge Nchanga to stay top

Leaders Kansanshi Dynamos have beaten Nchanga Rangers 1-0 away in Chingola to maintain their stay at the top of the FAZ National Division One table.

Midfielder Bob Chansa scored the only goal in this Week 14 match played at Nchanga Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The win moves Kansanshi to 28 points after playing 14 matches Nchanga drops from fourth to fifth position after remaining stuck on 23 points.

In Chililabombwe, Konkola Blades moved into second position following a 4-1 win over Kashikishi Warriors at Konkola Stadium.

Blades scored their goals through Christian Mpoyi, Emmanuel Mwaba, Paul Mumba and Kunda Kabila.

Blades sit on 27 points, one behind leaders Kansanshi Dynamos, after 14 matches played.

Chambishi have slumped from second to third position after a goalless draw against National Assembly in Chambishi.

Chambishi coached by Israel Mwanza have 26 points after playing 14 matches.

Meanwhile, City of Lusaka are back in the top four after beating Zesco Malaiti 1-0 to record their first win in five matches.

The win has pushed City to number four position with 26 points from 14 matches played.
