Kansanshi Dynamos sign Were.

Super Division side Kansanshi Dynamos have beefed up their squad with the acquisition of Kenyan striker Jesse Were.

Were cut ties with defending champions Zesco United on Friday following the expiry of his contract to join the ambitious Solwezi side.

The lanky forward has signed a two -year deal with Kansanshi.

Were trekked to Zambia in 2016 from Tusker FC and managed to net over 100 goals for the Ndola side during his five year stay at the club.

Kansanshi confirmed the capture of were in a brief statement posted on their Facebook page.

“We are pleased to announce our latest addition to the squad. The Kenyan hitman has joined us on a two-year contract,” read the Facebook post.

Where is expected to add firepower at the Tenant Chilumba coached sides attack.

Kansanshi are 12th on the Super Division log with 20 points.
