Kampyongo reconciles PF leadership on the Copperbelt

By JOHN SAKALA
Homes Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo has reconciled the Copperbelt PF provincial leadership with the former PF Provincial chairperson Stephen Kainga.

The party has been facing challenges internally where Mr Kainga and the current PF Provincial chairperson Nathan Chanda have had differences.

The Minister had also brought in the Mike Manda led members that lost to the Nathan Chanda led executive for all of them to work together.

Mr Kampyongo who was in Chingola yesterday during a mini rally at Chilemba market, urged the three parties to focus on winning the 2021 elections rather than fighting among themselves.

Each party pledged to work together to advance the interest of the party.

PF sources claim that Mr Kainga has been working with PF Secretary General Davies Mwila to undermine the Nathan Chanda led executive.

This seems not to have settled well with the current Chairperson Mr Chanda who is also Luanshya Mayor.

On the other hand members on the Copperbelt feel Mr Chanda has invested a lot in parring away criticism thrown at him.
