Kampyongo donates K10, 000 to Chingola’s Grace Church

Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo has donated K10, 000 to Grace Fellowship Family Church of Chingola.

Mr Kampyongo said the donation will go towards the construction of the church so that its worshippers can build the house of God.

The minister who had sent PF Copperbelt Provincial Youth Chairperson Don Mungulube to handover the money in his behalf, said the church remains the pillar of peace and confort for the nation.

He advised the church to take advantage of the October 18, which is a Day of National Prayers and Reconciliation to build the nation spiritually.

Mr Kampyongo said the church houses all types of politicians and is a place for solace for everyone who is down trodden.

The Minister in company of Defence Minister Davies Chama and the Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja had visited the church during gassing period where Mr Kampyongo had promised to make a contribution at a later time towards construction.

The two Chingola Lawmakers, Matthew Nkhuwa for Chingola and Chali Chilombo for Nchanga were also present.

He did not mention the amount but today October 18, Mr Mungulube delivered K10, 000 cash.

And Grace Fellowship Family Church thanked the minister and government for the donation.

Bishop Astridah Kalusenga said the church leadership was grateful for the gesture.

Bishop Kasulenga thanked the minister and government for its support towards the work of God.

She said the church will keep praying for the leaders for God’s protection and guidance.
