National Democratic Congress (NDC) consultant Chishimba Kambwili will campaign for the opposition Upnd in the forthcoming sesheke constituency parliamentary by election scheduled for next month.
The Upnd is fielding Romeo Kangombe in the February 12th polls.
Mr Kambwili said he will campaign for the Upnd together with his vice president Joseph’s Akafumba.
The Roan Lawmaker urged all NDC members in the western province to back the upnd in sesheke.
He said this in lusaka today when he addressed members of the party’s central committee.
The NDC is not fielding a candidate in the sesheke parliamentary race.
Mr Kambwili emphasized that the NDC will back the Upnd as part of the working relationship the party has with the opposition alliance.
He noted that Upnd will also back the NDC in future by elections in an event were that party will not field any candidates.
And NDC western province chairperson Mubita Mubita said the party will ensure that the Upnd grabs the sesheke seat.
This is according to a media statement by NDC acting Spokesperson Misheck Moyo.
