Kalulushi Council hands over 2 CDF projects

Kalulushi Municipal Council has completed and handed over two Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Funded projects.

The Council has completed the construction of two (2) 1×3 class room blocks at Chavuma Secondary and Mugala Primary schools respectively.

The two classroom blocks were handed over by the Minister of Community Development Kampamba Mulenga who is also the Member of Parliament for Kalulushi.

Ms Mulenga said the handover of the two 1×3 class room blocks is a clear example of prudent utilization of CDF by the local authority.

She said proper management and utilization of Government resources is critical in achieving equitable distribution of development to people in the District.

The projects for Chavuma and Mugala costed K422, 000 and K408, 000 respectively.

The office of the Mayor was represented by the Deputy Mayor Paul Chivunda.

The District Commissioner Kenny Siachisumo, was also present, Kalanga Ward Councillor Percely Chibuye, Ichimpe Ward Councilor Harrison Malunga and District Education Board (DEBS) Kalulushi were in attendance.
