Democratic Party (DP) Spokesperson Judy Kabemba says DP 2021 Presidential candidate Harry Kalaba has received an expulsion letter from the ruling PF.
But Ms Kabemba said Mr Kalaba who is also Bahati Member of Parliament and DP are unable to respond because the nation was mourning the death of the former Vice President Lupando Mwape.
“As you are aware, the government has declared a three days period of national mourning. It is as well a taboo in our culture to begin politicking and pointing figures at each other while the body of our late former Vice President is still in the mortuary.
“We therefore request the nation to wait in peace and that Hon Harry Kalaba will address the nation after he has paid his last respect and burial takes place,” she said.
