Nkana coach Kelvin Kaindu has welcomed the CAF Confederation Cup group stage draws that have paired his team against Raja Casablanca of Morocco and Egyptian side Pyramids.
Kalampa will also face either Namungo of Tanzania or CD de Agosto of Angola in Group D.
Kaindu has described the draws as fair.
“To me it’s a fair draw. If we come back to Raja in Morocco we already know where the venue is, we already know the environment, we already know where we can find our training ground,” he said.
Kaindu is banking on home advantage as Nkana compete in the group stage.
“I am sure if we take our games at home and probably maximize getting full points at home and try to pick a point or two away I think it would be an advantage for us,” he said.
“It is not going to be easy but we still have confidence in the team and we believe for the support we can get, I think we can sail through,” Kaindu said.
