One of the bridges on the Kabundi road is nearing completion.
This is the bridge between Protea hotel and Nsumi Guest House which currently is undergoing refilling.
Avic Site Supervisor Lee Tom said told Chingola Mayor Titus Tembo who wanted to know the progress that the bridge will be completed in under 15 days.
Mr Tom said after the completion, the company would move to the bridge at Icon hotel.
The two bridges have delayed the construction of the Kabundi Road which has been transformed from a single road into a dual carriage way.
The other thrust that the Titus Tembo led administration wants to achieve is a green and clean Chingola.
Among the spots inspected were the roundabouts to find out if they have provision of water.
Mr Tembo who thanked President Edgar Lungu for allocating Chingola with a good number of kilometres for road overhaul said Chingola would reclaim its lost glory of being the cleanest town.
