The release of K930m towards the recruitment of 11,200 healthcare workers is indicative of the President’s and the new administration commitment of actualizing the delivery of quality healthcare for all.
Presidential Spokesperson Anthony Bwalya said it is also a fulfillment of the promise the new administration made to the people of Zambia.
Mr Bwalya said the public is rest assured that the President will not relent, until Government achieve a responsive public healthcare system upon which the Zambian people can rely and count on.
He said the President further reiterates that despite the legacy economic challenges we have to deal with as part of our national reconstruction agenda.
“No effort will be spared in ensuring that critical public services such as health and education are made readily available to the Zambian people,” he said.
