Jumulo starts Division One play-offs with victory

Copperbelt champions Jumulo have kicked off the FAZ National Division One play-offs with a big win over Young Raiders in their Group A opening match.

Jumulo thrashed Raiders 3-0 at Margaret Mwanakatwe Stadium in Lusaka to top Group A on three points.

Kunda Mazinga, Tito Ndoli and Kalu Banda scored the goals for Coach Linos Makwaza’s side.

In the other Group A match, North Western kings Quattro Kalumbila beat Real Nakonde 2-1.

Sinazongwe United were on by on day one.

In Group B, Lusaka champions Young Buffaloes were held to a goalless draw by Luapula side ZNS Luamfumu at Crested Crane Academy Grounds.

Malalo Police drew 2-2 with Luena Buffaloes in the other Group B match at Crested Crane Academy Grounds.

Sinda United, who are in Group B, were on bye on Monday.

Action continues on Tuesday afternoon with the top two teams winning promotion at the end of the round robin format playoffs on Friday.
