Kitwe based Jumulo FC on Saturday afternoon came from 2-1 down in the first half to beat Nchanga Rangers 3-2 at home, recording their second win of the season.

In a game played at KPF, it was the home side that scored first through Muleta Mubiana in the sixteenth minute but it was Nchanga Rangers Christian Saile who stole the first half show through a quick brace in the 28th and 34th minutes respectively.

Jumulo went on to equalize through Francis Mwale’s 66th-minute header while Muleta Mubiana concluded his brace through a spot-kick in the 86th minute.

Speaking in an interview after the game, Jumulo FC Head Coach Linos Makwaza expressed delight with his teams’ character and work rate.

“I’m very happy with the boys who have shown character by coming from behind to beat Nchanga Rangers which is not easy,” he said.

Makwaza further highlighted that the team isn’t there to participate but to compete and reiterated that if the team maintains the same spirit, they will be a complete team and win promotion.

The win takes Jumulo to eighth place with six points while Nchanga Rangers are fifth with six points.

Elsewhere, Gomes beat ZESCO Malaiti Rangers 2-0 while KYSA and MUZA edged Mufulira Wanderers and Police College respectively by a lone goal.
