It’s too late to rejoin PF-Kambwili

By Staff Writer
National Democratic Congress (NDC) leader Chishimba Kambwili says that it is too late for him to rejoin the ruling Patriotic Front.

And Mr Kambwili has made a national wide call to all genuine PF members who want to serve Zambia honestly to ditch PF and join NDC.

Speaking when he appeared on Prime TV’s ‘Oxygen of Democracy’ program, Mr Kamwbili said he was ejected out of PF and there can be no more dialogue for him to rejoin the ruling party.

He mocked PF leaders who went to de-campaign him during the Roan polls where NDC won its first parliamentary seat.

Mr Kambwili said Roan has numerous problems but as a Member of Parliament he tried to ease the pressure of the residents through various interventions such as empowerment for youths, women and farmers.

He said when he became MP most of the roads in Roan where impassable but he has left most of the main roads done.

Mr Kambwili also mocked PF leaders who have kept on asking voters to vote for the ruling PF in order to see development.

“In North-Western Province there is no single MP for PF but development is being taken to the province. Western and Southern the scenario is almost the same but the most expensive road was done in Mongu. They should not cheat Zambians but the good news is that Zambians are now waking up,” he said.

And Mr Kambwili has implored Zambians to join NDC in order to remove leadership he termed to be mediocre.

He said PF instead of campaigning in Roan they only went to dance, dish money without giving hope to the residents.

Regarding the insults on him, Mr Kambwili said he was PF National Youth Chairperson and he knew the people in the video including the owner of the vehicles they were using.
