It’s FAKE. Patson Daka hasn’t aided Nchanga Rangers financially

By JOHN SAKALA
Nchanga Rangers Football Club has clarified that it has not received any funding from Leicester City Star Patson Daka.

Club Vice President Shapi Shachinda said the social media post was made by idle minds.

“It has come to our attention that there is a social media post, which has gone viral, purporting that Patson Daka has financially aided Nchanga Rangers Football Club.

We intended to ignore the post, but on second thoughts decided to put the record straight because the post is an outcome of an idling mind probably trying to cast aspersions on Patson Daka and Nchanga Rangers Football Club,” he said.

Shachinda said the post must be treated as fake news and hence dismissed with the contempt it deserves.

“We value Patson Daka’s contribution to Nchanga Rangers during his time with the Club and are proud of the role we played in his development.

“Our Club continues to admire his progression as a professional footballer and value his contribution to the development of Zambian football. We feel it is inappropriate for anyone to throw his name in the mud in this manner. Ignore the fake news!” he said.
