A 48-year-old man of Minsenga farming block in Chambishi has died after he allegedly consumed an illicit beer.
The man only identified as Sylvester Chitulu was found dead by Mathews Chizezi of the same area who reported to the police.
Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba said the incident occurred on December 26, 2022 at unknown time.
“The victim is suspected to have died after taking excessive illicit beer. The body was inspected and no physical injuries were discovered,” he said.
Mr Mweemba also said the body has since deposited to Chambishi Government Clinic mortuary and no foul play suspected
