IG visits Copperbelt ahead of polls

Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja is in Luanshya district on the copperbelt province to check on the security situation and deployment pattern of Police Officers in Roan Constituency ahead of the parliamentary by-election slated for 11th April 2019.

Speaking when he paid a courtesy call on Acting Luanshya District Commissioner Dier Donne Lupasha, Mr. Kanganja said police will not entertain law breakers regardless of their political affiliation.

Mr. Kanganja says anyone found wanting will be dealt with accordingly.

And Mr Lupasha says his office will support and work with the Police in order to maintain peace and order before, during and after the by-election/Radio Phoenix.
