The Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja says the late Zambian High Commissioner to Kenya Brenda Muntemba served the country diligently.
In his message of condolences, Mr Kanganja said Ms Muntemba served in in prominent positions under the Zambia Police Zambia.
“We are saddened as Zambia Police on the death of Ms Brenda Muntemba Sichilembe who was until her demise, serving as the Zambia’s High Commissioner to Kenya. Before her appointment by the President of the Republic of Zambia, we worked with Ms Ms Muntemba in the Zambia Police where she diligently served the nation in different positions most prominent ones being that of Zambia Police Public Relations Officer and Commissioner of Police, the rank she held until her appointment into the foreign Mission.
“She will greatly be missed by the entire Zambia Police Service and the nation at large. We stand with the family of Ms Muntemba Sichilembe throughout this difficult time,” he said.
