Dear Editor,
Government released K900, 000 for the construction of two bridges across Kamatemate stream between Mulenga and Ndeke in Ndeke ward of Kamfinsa constituency.
But the Member of Parliament together with the local leadership decided to make this makeshift of a footbridge at a cost K450, 000 which is already cracking down barely two months old.
This bridge can’t even endure one rainy season yet we had so called engineers on site during construction.
Honestly, can this bridge cost K450, 000?
I think for once, we can do better than this.
