The Patriotic Front (PF) newly elected Mufulira Central Member of Parliament Golden Mwila has thanked people of Mufulira Central for giving him an opportunity to serve them as the Lawmaker after scooped the seat on the August, 12 polls.
Mr Mwila has pledged to offer servant leadership to the people of Mufulira Central in order to improve their livelihood.
“I would like to thank all the people of Mufulira Central for electing me as Member of Parliament, the decision you made on the ballot box on August 12, should respected and taken seriously and I promise to work on the promises I made during the campaigns,” he said.
He said that people elected him to represent them at Parliament, and he ensure that all the problems facing the people of Mufulira Central are tabled before Parliament.
Mr Mwila has assured Mufulira residents that he will work closely with the UPND government to foster development in Mufulira central constituency.
He has also called on the people of Zambia to support the new Government for the betterment of the nation.
