Hungry Lion opens 41st outlet in Zambia

By JOHN SAKALA
Zambia’s favourite quick service restaurant, Hungry Lion now boasts more than 40 stores countrywide. The newest outlet opened its doors today at Kamloops Mall in Lusaka and is ready to join the Zambian pride with their Bigger Pieces and Thick Cut Chips.

Being a proudly African brand, this new store will serve the residents in its surrounding communities with pride bringing a variety of meals at affordable prices, as Zambians have come to associate with Hungry Lion.

Country Manager Busu Mpepo said the new store is part of Hungry Lion’s strategy to bring Zambia’s best chicken brand closer to communities, and provide more job opportunities to Zambia’s people.

“We are excited to open our latest outlet at Kamloops Mall, enabling our customers in the area to enjoy their favourite chicken meals conveniently and at affordable prices. Hungry Lion has a strong presence countrywide and has partnered with local communities to create employment opportunities and establish partnerships with local suppliers,” he said.

Mr Mpepo said that the new store is an addition to the 40 stores countrywide, and will enable the brand to not only continue, but increase its support of community initiatives related to skills development, education and hunger alleviation.
