UPND President Hakainde Hichilema and National Restoration Party leader Elias Chipimo Jr conferred today to rekindle their long term friendship.
Speaking with The Independent Observer soon after their meeting Mr Chipimo said the meeting was aimed at rekindling their relationship for the sake of the nation.
“HH and I have been friends but we haven’t been taking, hence we to meet and rekindle our friendship. So much was discussed but it’s for own consumption,” he said.
And UPND Spokesman Charles Kakoma told The Independent Observer that Mr Chipimo and Mr Hichilema met to discuss various issues affecting the nation.
The meet was held at Mr Hichilema’s place at his residence in New Kasama, Lusaka.
