President Edgar Lungu has called on traditional leaders to help engage opposition leaders on the need to promote peace and unity as the country nears the August 12, 2021 general elections.

He says this why the PF administration will not and has not allowed the country to be divided on tribal lines.

“Government believes in a united Zambia, we will also modernize the bus station in Lundazi and work on other pending projects,” he said.

The head of state was speaking when he met chiefs in Lundazi District of Eastern Province.

And speaking on behalf of other traditional leaders, Chief Kapichila thanked President Lungu for the massive development in Lundazi.

“The PF government is working on the Lundazi Bridge and other infrastructure in the district, our farmers in the area is also happy that farming inputs are already in the district,” he said.
