The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested a Human Resource Officer at the District Health Office in Kalomo, Southern province, for alleged corrupt practices.

Modern Pulukuta 51 is believed to have been soliciting for money from members of the general public, promising to facilitate their employment.

Pulukuta allegedly solicited for a 5,000 kwacha from a member of the public, to facilitate for recruitment into the public service.

ACC Spokesperson, Queen Chibwe has confirmed this in a statement yesterday.

Ms Chibwe said Pulukuta, between August 1, 2020 and September 30, 2020, solicited a K5, 000 and actually received 3,500 from one Venter Sibulotwe.

This was as an inducement or reward in order to facilitate Sibolotwe’s recruitment into the public service under the Ministry of Health.
