Hauloads donates sports kit to Chingola Police Blue Stars

Hauloads Zambia has continued with donation of sports kit to Chingola Police Blue Stars.

The logistics company donates jerseys which home ana away kit plus balls every year to revamp sport in the district.The police team won Copperbelt Division Two Championships last season and they won promotion into Division One.Hauloads Zambia General Manager Lenny Savopoulos said the logistics company wants to promote sport in the country.Savopoulos said sport helps to keep the youths and police officers fit thereby curtailing non communicable diseases.He said some youths with talent will make a career out of sport.“We don’t want sponsorship to end here at the handover, we want to be part of the cheer leaders in the pitch, witness the successes and failures of the team. In short we want to journey together with you.”My Director Richard Hall would love to watch the team in action so that he can appreciate what he has been sponsoring,” he said.He said the donation to Chingola Police Blue Stars is part of annual corporate social responsibility of the company in appreciation of law and order being maintained by police.Savopoulos said Hauloads as a road user has enjoyed good relations with police and there was no better way of reciprocating to show good gesture than sponsoring the police team.And in receiving the donation Chingola Officer Commanding Patrick Mutti said the kit is a further motivation.Mutti said the team will work hard this season in order to play in Eden University National League next season.He thanked Hauloads Zambia management led by Richard Hall, the director of the company in supporting the police.Hauloads is a subsidiary of Green Door Group. Other companies under its wing are Cargo 2 Congo (C2C) and Ka Go 2 Go (KG2G).
