Justice Minister Malambo Haimbe has assured the newly elected Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) executive of a cordial working relationship with government.
In his congratulatory message to the new executive, Mr Haimbe said his Ministry will continue recognizing institutions that offer checks and balances to the Government in order to strengthen democracy.
He said his Ministry will give the new LAZ Executive the desired support to effectively promote and protect the interest of the legal fraternity and social justice.
LAZ elected Lungisani Zulu and Ngosa Simachela as President and Vice President, respectively, at its 94th Annual General Meeting held in Livingstone over the weekend.
