Government has released K4m to Ndola City Council for rehabilitation of Kapalala Market that was recently gutted.
Local Government Permanent Secretary for Administration Maambo Hamaundu says Government wants the works at the market to be completed before the rain season.
Mr Hamaundu said that the defense forces have been engaged to work on the facility.
And Mr Hamaundu has disclosed that Government has also released funds to 7 councils under the rural development for construction of bridges on various crossing points.
