The Examination Council of Zambia (ECZ) has refuted social media reports that Grade Seven and Nine examinations results are out.
ECZ Acting Public Relations Specialist Nicolas Nkhuwa said in a statement that the said announcement did not emanate from ECZ.
Mr Nkhuwa said that members of the public are advised to disregard the information circulating as the 2020 examinations are still being processed.
“ECZ is concerned with the announcement circulating in some sections of social media purporting that 2020 grade seven and nine examinations are out and available on mobile platform,” read the statement in part.
He said the public will be informed by the Ministry of General Education once the processing of results for various levels of Examinations are completed.
Schools will open on Monday without Grade Eight and 10 who are expected to report at various schools once the results for Grade Seven and Nine examinations are released.
