Government has pledged its support to the Zambia Red Cross Society (ZRCS) and its partners for the work they are doing in saving and improving people’s lives.
Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary Kennedy Kalunga praised the Society for complimenting the government on various issues especially in the fight against Covid-19.
Mr Kalunga said that partnerships and networks within the media will ensure a well-informed populace on the work undertaken by various organizations.
This was during a stakeholder and partner collaboration with the ZRCS and Demand Generation for Covid-19 Vaccination media brunch.
And Zambia Red Cross Society Secretary General Kaitano Chungu called for more cooperation among various stakeholders in making Zambia a better country.
He also urged the media to focus on the positive side of stories in an effort to build and not bring division in the country.
