GOVT STARTS EVALUATION OF BORDER PPP PROJECTS

Government has started the evaluation process of the Public Private Partnership project of modernizing border infrastructure at three borders on the Copperbelt.

The borders are Sakania, Mokambo and Kasumbalesa in Ndola, Mufulira and Chililabombwe.

Public Private Partnership Council Member Margaret Mudenda says the projects also include upgrading of the roads leading to the borders and the construction of parking lots.

Ms Mudenda said this when her delegation called on Copperbelt Province Deputy Permanent Secretary, Daniel Kamenga.

And Ministry of Finance and National Development Senior Development Manager under the PPP department, Stephen Chanda reiterated that evaluation process of the bids will start soon. (ZANIS)
