Govt hands over an Ambulance to Munkonge chiefdom

Government has handed over an ambulance to Munkonge chiefdom to be stationed at Munkonge health post.

Government is also constructing a mini hospital at Munkonge health post.

Kasama District Commissioner Kelly Kashiwa led a team of health staff to Munkonge palace were an ambulance was handed over to Chief Munkonge.
And receiving the ambulance on behalf of the chiefdom, Chief Munkonge thanked government for delivering on its promises.

“I’m grateful to the President for giving us this ambulance and we are hopeful that many more development is coming to my chiefdom. I’m happy because I will not be driving patients from my chiefdom to the hospital using my vehicle now,” he said.
