Southern Province Minister (MP) Cornelius Mweetwa says Government remains committed to undertaking sufficient reforms necessary to make the role of Public Relations Professionals in Zambia more effective in supporting government’s agenda towards national development.
Mr Mweetwa noted that the passing of the bill has transformed the Zambia Public Relations Association (ZAPRA) to Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communications (ZIPRC), a professional body responsible for regulating standards and the conduct of PR and Communications practitioners is a big milestone for Zambia and Africa at large.
The Minister said this during the official opening of the 2023 Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication (ZIPRC) Annual General Meeting (AGM) Conference & Gala being held under the theme “professional and cutting-edge PR and Communication”.
